CITING PERIODICALS, JOURNALS, AND OTHER TEXT IN MLA FORMAT

Similar to referencing books, most periodicals and journals require documentation on the author, title and publication information. When citing publication dates, give the latest copyright date for the edition you are using. Again, like books, if the journal uses different printings, use the original publication date.
